Built on Tradition. Driven by Vision.

Our Story

Interface Properties was founded on a simple belief: real estate is an asset class, but it is a people business first. For over 30 years, we have balanced the "old-school" values that never go out of style—integrity, discipline, and the power of a handshake—with the fresh perspectives required to stay ahead of the curve. We don’t just buy properties; we roll up our sleeves to unlock potential where others see only complexity.

Interface Properties was built on a simple belief: every great real estate deal begins – and ends – with people. We honor the old-school values that never go out of style – integrity, discipline, the power of a handshake – while embracing the fresh ideas, tools and technologies, and perspectives that keep us one step ahead of the curve.

For us, success has always meant rolling up our sleeves, building trust, and bringing the right people together to unlock potential. With roots stretching back more than three decades, today Interface Properties focuses on transforming undervalued and overlooked assets into thriving investments, guided by an entrepreneurial spirit, a developer’s eye, a contractor’s attention to detail, and a commitment to hands-on stewardship.

Where It Started: Retail, Dirt, and a Lot of Homework

Interface Properties was founded in 1990 by Kenneth Goodman, a retail broker who learned early that real estate rewards those willing to understand every moving part. From land acquisition and entitlements to leasing, compliance, asset management, and dispositions, Interface grew by doing the unglamorous work. Over its first 20 years, the firm assembled and operated more than 8 million square feet across 24 states, building a national platform grounded in execution rather than shortcuts.
